Drive the purchasing council members and hotels to foster teamwork and build relationships.
Manage sourcing technology activities such as, but not limited to: spearhead and drive group wide e-procurement system in country and global office with Corporate Procurement, reverse auctions, bid system templates, E-platform development, etc. With MBT would be advantaged
Conduct Spend data analysis and management.
Identify, investigate and qualify vendors for divisional contracting for products and/or services.
Conduct vendor qualification research
Conduct product testing and qualification
Analyze proposals and make recommendations to hotels for contracting for products and/or services, utilizing corporate/area subject matter experts to execute contracts
Manage Global (Group Contract), Regional (Area Contract), local suppliers and incorporate the resources of vendors to drive standards.
Conduct periodic audits of Regional and local Procurement operation and Procurement Management.
Monitors performance of supplier (s) against agreed performance criteria.
Support new builds/transition teams prior to opening of new hotels. With Construction Project Management, Construction Procurement management
Degree holder or above in supply chain management/business administration or any related disciplines
Minimum 12 years hands-on experience in hotel industry of which 3 years at senior level at Group level
Full Pre-Opening FFE & OSE Experience would be an added advantage
Strong leadership with excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese (Mandarin speaking is a plus)
