Duties & Responsibilities:
To increase business/occupancy through establishing and maintaining good relationships with a number of clients, working to meet sales targets.
To develop new business wherever possible from identified market segments and sources of business.
To attend trade shows, promotions, etc. Representing hotel in general to keep a high profile in the marketplace.
To submit weekly sales call appointment to Director of Sales on timely manner as per schedule given, so proper planning can be advise for the Sales & Marketing Department.
Must be present for own Account Food Testing, taking feedback comments from the client and to flow down the feedback to Chef & Operation Team.
To maintain accurate accounts and data sheets on all active accounts; to monitor this data base system. To update in Delphi FDC every new Account, Contact, Leads. Appointments, Activities on a daily basis.
To update Director of Sales daily on Sales call feedback / challenges / what do we need to do to close the sales?
To conduct on site Hotel inspections on a regular basis for potential and existing clients.
To assist Director of Sales in the monthly statistics / sales report.
To study / review weekly competitors promotions / events regularly.
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, or Graduate in any field.
At least 3 years of working experience in Sales.
Preferably Manager specializing in hospitality industry.
Matured, independent and flexible, approachable & reliable, efficient with good sense of urgency.
Ability to constantly create new Sales approach.
Good communication skill (written / verbal) both in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
