Job Responsibilities :-
To provide sales and administration support for the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Sales Department such as handling and files all documents, prepares letters as well as other duties requested by the DOSM.
To maintain the strictest confidentiality on all hotel sales information.
Professionally conduct routine telemarketing activities to identify new accounts
Conduct Market Surveys and Competitor Research when required
Meet with clients in the hotel for house tours or assist with functions when Sales personnel are away
Ensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manual as well as electronically is maintained at all times
Maintain complete and supported records of all Sales Agreements, Contracts and Quotations for the hotel
Ensure the mailing list is handled properly, Courier packages are recorded and collected and at end of month hand over the billing details to Finance department.
Maintain lists/order stock of brochures, festive cards and giveaways
Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.
Holds a Certificate or Diploma in Marketing/Business Studies or Administration
Understanding of selling techniques and marketing concepts
Strong follow-up,organizational skills and communication skills
Well-developed computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office, Excel and power point.
A good organizer, able to work under pressure and multi-tasking skills
Fluent English & Bahasa Malaysia – written and spoken, multi-lingual desirable
Minimum one to two years’ work experience as sales /administrative staff
