Love is like a melody, only when it’s composed of happy, sweet, sour or even bitter notes, does it sound melodic. Enjoy this beautiful melody with your loved one this coming Valentine’s Day with Dorsett Wanchai’s ‘Love 4 Life’ Package for a heartfelt and memorable celebration.

4-flavour Hotpot Dinner to Appreciate Love’s Journey….Unlike other hotpot dishes that Hong Kongers are accustomed to, the chef at the Dining House Restaurant will prepare four special soup bases for the Valentine’s Day hotpot. When advised to eat according to the sequence proposed by the chef, couples will be able to taste the four distinctive “flavours” of a relationship: happy, sweet, sour, and bitter. After all, Valentine’s Day is not just about showing one’s love romantically, it is also meant to show that couples become closer by supporting each other in good times and bad.

The Sweetest Sweet Surprise….To add a sweet surprise to the evening, our chef will present couples with the Chinese scholar’s four treasures – a writing brush, Chinese ink stick, ink slab, and paper, on a classic wooden tray to allow couples to write love notes to each other and then….to eat them up. Yes, ‘eat them up’! This is because all the ‘writing tools’ are made of edible ingredients, and serve to give a lingering “sweetness” to a wonderful evening.

But the night doesn’t end there…Just when you thought the evening couldn’t get any better, there will be a bottle of sparkling wine and handmade sweet treats left in the room. And for any couple whose stay falls on the Wednesday, they will be able to enjoy the exciting horse-racing spectacle from the comfort of their room over a glass of bubbly and with sweet bites to nibble on. A fitting end to an ultra-romantic Valentine’s Day getaway.

This ‘Love 4 Life’ Valentine’s Package is priced at HK$1,688, which includes one night’s stay in the Grand Deluxe or Premier Course View Room and an exclusive 4-flavour hotpot dinner for two at the Dining House, our fine-dining Chinese restaurant that serves quality Guangdong and Huaiyang cuisine, as well as a bottle of bubbly accompanied by handmade sweet treats served in the room.
