It will be a wonderful feeling, especially for the little ones, knowing that they can actually make a difference to those in need while having a great time in the city. Joining like-minded partners means we can do more for the community as well as to our guests,” says Ms Anita Chan, General Manager of Dorsett Wanchai, Hong Kong.

Dorsett Little Artist Charity Program

Dorsett Wanchai’s DLA program is 100% charity-based exclusively for hotel guests with young art lovers aged between 3 and 13 years old. This programme will run for 1 year beginning in August 2018.

With a small donation of HK$ 100 from parents, children will get a chance to pick one of their favourite colouring pages hand-drawn by local artists and a chance to join the colouring contest. As a token of appreciation for their kind act, each child will receive Dorsett’s exclusive 3-tier colouring box and colouring book, a Certificate of Appreciation, as well as a “Thank You” card from our partnering charity organization. All submissions will automatically enter the contest which will be held quarterly with the 1st first one in November 2018.

The colouring contest will split into three age groups – 3 - 6 years old; 7 - 10 years old and 11 – 13 years old. Two winners will be selected from each age group, and each will win a 2-night stay in Dorsett Wanchai.

All the proceeds collected from the DLA programme will go to the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, which is a Hong Kong-based charity organisation (see below).
