CELEBRATING THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN WITH THE UNDERPRIVILEGED
An Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative by Dorsett Putrajaya
8 May 2019
PUTRAJAYA, 8 May – It was an auspicious and exciting filled night for 60 children from Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim AT-TAQWA, where Dorsett Putrajaya hosted and welcomed them for a night filled with celebration. Ramadan Charity Dinner was a CSR programme initiated by Dorsett Putrajaya, where the children celebrated the festival with sumptuous Ramadan meal specially made by our award winning Chefs.
“Since its opening in 2016, Dorsett Putrajaya has always thought about our community by giving and caring for the underprivileged ones. We believe that this annual CSR will give inspiration to other corporate companies to keep giving back to the community” said Alfred Paulsen, General Manager of Dorsett Putrajaya. During their Ramadan preview in April, the hotel has generously contributed 150 pcs Baju Raya to Kempen Baju Baharu which was initiated by Nona TV3.
The meaningful Ramadan Charity Dinner was made successful with full support from the team members of Dorsett Putrajaya and Hero Market for their thoughtful and caring contributions towards the 60 children of Rumah Anak – Anak Yatim AT-TAQWA. The children were also given ‘Duit Raya’ by Dorsett Putrajaya, few dry food items such as rice, tea powder, bihun and more. Hero Market also made the event merrier with their hamper donation for this home.
As happy as the kids, they delivered a beautiful performance and entertained all the guest tonight with their creativity and happy go lucky characteristics.
