Dorsett Hartamas Kuala Lumpur, The latest vibrant hotel in the vibrant affluent neighborhood of Hartamas, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Chef Salsabil Bin Mohd Salim as its new Executive Sous Chef.
In his latest role as the Executive Sous Chef for Dorsett Hartamas Kuala Lumpur, Chef Salsabil will be responsible for the day to day kitchen operation in addition to overseeing the hotel’s in-room dining and meeting, banquets as well as social events. Not only that, the appointment of Chef Salsabil will see him bringing the dynamic, innovative energy to the dining experience at this vibrant hotel.
With his insatiable passion for innovative cuisines and dynamism, Chef Salsabil will undoubtedly elevate the sensory experience for both hotel guests and those who appreciate the finest of food.
Chef Salsabil began his amazing culinary journey in 2000 with Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur’s 1st international hotel which opened after Malaysia gained its independence. He further sharpened his culinary knowledge and expertise thereafter by taking on various portfolios with renowned hotels in Malaysia. At 34, he took on his 1st ever Executive Sous Chef role in 2014 with Palace of the Golden Horses Selangor, a 5-star 472 key hotel with massive F & B as well as meeting facilities for up to 8,000 people.
A wizard with Western cuisine, Chef Salsabil had represented Malaysia and the hotels that he had worked for in numerous culinary events.
On his appointment, Chef Salsabil said, “I am very excited to be part of the Dorsett family and to spearhead the opening of the all-day dining restaurant cum lounge, Table Talk. This opportunity will allow us to experience and showcase a totally new dining dimension for the enjoyment of our patrons; an experience that will perfectly radiates Dorsett’s ‘Stay Vibrant’ elements.”
