The Gold Coast will host a World Surf League Championship Tour event at Snapper Rocks from 2025-2028, returning after a five-year break. This iconic surf spot, part of the Gold Coast World Surfing Reserve, will feature top global surfers. Full details and dates will be announced later in 2024.

The Groundwater Country Music Festival, produced by Experience Gold Coast, returns from October 18–20, 2023, for its 11th year. This free festival transforms Broadbeach into a vibrant music hub with top country artists performing across various stages. The 2023 lineup featured stars like Lee Kernaghan, Jackson Dean, Casey Barnes, and Amber Lawrence, delivering a dynamic country music experience. The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 returns to Surfers Paradise from October 25-27, 2024, marking its 30th anniversary. This Supercars Championship event features thrilling Mustang vs. Camaro races on a vibrant street circuit.
