    • Situated in the south of Jiujiang City, Lushan is surrounded by vast mountains and enjoys a vantage point overlooking China's longest river, the Yangtze. The city is bordered by the Tengwang Pavilion from the North, the Beijing-Kowloon railway from the East, and Poyang, China's largest freshwater lake, from the West.

      Lushan is also renowned for The Spring Temple Buddha, the world's tallest Buddha and largest statue upon its completion. Constructed of bronze and weighing 6400 tons, the Buddha stands at an impressive 208 meters from the base of its pedestal to the top of its head, with Buddha's body measuring 108 meters in height.

      The ideal time to visit Lushan is from May to October. Summer offers the opportunity to witness the stunning waterfalls, while autumn, particularly September and October, showcases the mountain's most beautiful views.
