Dorsett Melbourne in collaboration with Geelong-based business The Mailroom Co, presents Miracle on Little Lonsdale Street. This unique hotel experience is inspired by the 1947 Christmas film and brought to life in the heart of Melbourne.

2025 will be a Christmas to remember when booking your family’s stay, with overnight accommodation in architecturally designed rooms or suites, complimentary breakfast for kids up to 12, Christmas teddy bear keepsakes and customised, luxury letters from Santa, handcrafted by The Mailroom Co. Families staying on Christmas Eve will also receive complimentary milk and cookies for Santa.

So go ahead and add sparkle to your city stay and through kindness and personalised touches, let us remind children that “faith is believing things when common sense tells you not to”.

2025 Santa Letters
The Mailroom Co handcrafts luxurious Santa Letters, featuring beautifully personalised designs that keep the magic of Christmas alive at every age. Each letter includes a message from Santa with your child's name and a thick envelope addressed to your child, all delicately wrapped in velvet ribbon. Santa letters are designed to be enjoyed any time in December but are recommended to be placed out on Christmas Eve to be opened on Christmas morning. There is one Santa letter per reservation, however Santa letters can be easily personalised with multiple children's names.

• In case of cancellation after this date, a penalty of 100% of first night will apply.
• In case of non-arrival, a 1-night penalty fee will apply.
• Dorsett Melbourne is a cashless hotel, and all payments are processed via credit card.
• To ensure a smooth check-in experience, we kindly request that you bring the physical credit or debit card to complete the pre-authorization process upon check-in. The amount of $200 will be held on your credit or debit card for any incidentals.
• Credit Card payments will incur a merchant service fee of 1.5% on total balances.
• The hotel does not accept cash as a method of payment.
• This reservation requires full, non-refundable prepayment 14 days prior to arrival.
• By confirming your booking, you understand that, should you cancel after payment is taken, no refund is owing.
• 1.5% credit card service fee is applicable on all transactions.
