Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

2. ELIGIBILITY:
This giveaway is open to residents of Hong Kong who hold a valid Hong Kong identity card and are 18 years of age or older as of the date the Entry (as defined below) is made. 

If an entrant intentionally participates in this giveaway with one or more fake accounts or false accounts, or involves any fraud or deception, his / her participation and / or prize-winning qualification will be cancelled.

Employees of Dorsett Hospitality International (“Sponsor”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, or any member of the same household) are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited.

3. HOW TO ENTER:
The campaign Entry Period begins on 9 June 2025 at 00:00 HKT and ends on 30 June 2025 at 23:59 HKT (“Entry Period”). To enter, participants must adhere to the following for the duration of the Entry Period:
(i) Follow both @dorsettkaitak and @dorsetthospitality on Instagram;
(ii) Like the official giveaway post;
(iii) Comment on the giveaway post and tag one friend;
(iv) Ensure their Instagram account is public for the duration of the Entry Period.

All entry steps must be completed before the deadline of the campaign (the ‘Entry”). Multiple entries are allowed; however, each Entry must tag a different individual. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, late, or do not follow the entry instructions will be disqualified. Entries generated by automated means will be void.

When an entrant leaves an Entry on the giveaway, he / she agrees to transfer the intellectual property rights (including copyrights) of his / her Entry to the Sponsor and / or its affiliates free of charge. The transfer is completed immediately with the Entry is made. The Sponsor and / or its affiliates has the absolute right to edit, remove, modify, copy, translate, forward and display the Entry on the giveaway or use or exploit the Entry in any way.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:
The winner will be selected based on the number of “likes” received on their eligible Entry  under the official giveaway post during the Entry Period. 

The Entry with the highest number of likes at 23:59 HKT on 30 June 2025 will be declared as the winner. If there are 2 or more Entries that receive the same highest number of “likes”, the Sponsor will pick a winner amongst the entries with the same highest number of “likes” and the Sponsor’s decision is final.

The winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message on or before 7 July 2025. The winner must respond within two (2) days of notification and provide:
(a) Proof of following @dorsettkaitak and @dorsetthospitality;
(b) A screenshot showing the liked and commented post;
(c) Confirmation of the tagged friend in the comment.

Failure to respond within the specified time frame or to provide the required documentation will result in disqualification, and the next most-liked comment may be declared the winner. The stay must be booked directly with Dorsett Kai Tak, Hong Kong. Stay is subject to availability and blackout dates, and must be reserved at least 14 days in advance.

5. PRIZE:
The confirmed winner will receive a complimentary one-night stay at Dorsett Kai Tak, Hong Kong, in a Premier City Sky View Room for two guests, including two drinks at Jin Bo Law Skybar. The maximum value per drink is HK$138+ 10% service charge. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. The prize must be redeemed by 30 June 2026.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and Instagram from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the giveaway or receipt or use of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries; technical failures; or any errors in the administration of the giveaway. If the giveaway is compromised by any virus, fraud, technical issue, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control. All dates and times related to the giveaway (including but not limited to the date and time of the Entry, the date and time of the winner’s reply) are subject to the system report and are subject to the final decision of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the giveaway and the Sponsors’ decision shall be final.

Entrants hereby undertake and confirm that their Entries are original and not plagarized, and that the Entry will not infringe any rights of any third party including copyright and other intellectual property rights. The Sponsor reserves the right to require the relevant entrants to provide proof of the originality of the Entry or to use the Entry. If any loss, damage, expense and fee (including but not limited to legal fees) is incurred by any third party as a result of the Entry on the giveaway, the entrant shall be solely responsible for any claims or demands made by the third party for the loss, damage, expense and fee suffered by the entrant. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Sponsor and its affiliates and hold the Sponsor and its affiliates harmless from any liability and loss in respect of the above claims, loss, damage, expense and fee.

The Sponsor reserves the right to remove any Entry at its sole discretion including but not limited to Entries that are inappropriate, defamatory, false, illegal, abusive, offensive, disturbing, intrusive to others’ privacy, racially, religiously, sexually discriminatory or obscene. The Sponsor also reserves the right of final decision in case of dispute of the eligibility and the Entry.

7. PRIVACY:
By entering, entrants agree that any personal data provided may be used by the Sponsor and its affiliates and their employees for the purposes of administering the giveaway in accordance with its privacy policy and may also be provided to other persons who may facilitate the Sponsor. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram.

8. CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION:
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this giveaway shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Hong Kong SAR.
